Tallow Balm Australia - Calendula Zinc Balm

Our Calendula Zinc Tallow Balm Australia, is a deeply nourishing natural face and body balm, handmade with just five carefully selected ingredients you can pronounce: grass-fed and finished beef tallow, Australian organic golden jojoba oil, organic calendula flower (infused in the jojoba oil for 6 weeks), beeswax & zinc oxide (non-nano 7%).

This balm is free from essential oils, synthetic fragrances, petroleum-derived ingredients, industrial seed oils and unnecessary additives. It’s a simple choice for those who prefer minimal-ingredient skincare.

Ideal for: Dry, sensitive and irritation-prone skin, nappy-area care, itchy pregnancy skin, chafing-prone areas, rough or dry patches, hands, elbows and heels, and skin needing extra protection from environmental exposure.

Grass-fed and finished tallow closely resembles the skin’s natural oils and is rich in naturally occurring vitamins A, D, E and K. As an occlusive moisturiser, it helps form a protective layer that helps lock in moisture and reduce moisture loss, leaving skin feeling soft, smooth and conditioned.

Golden jojoba oil is rich in vitamin E and structurally similar to the skin’s natural sebum, helping soften, condition and moisturise without a heavy or greasy feel. 

Calendula is traditionally valued for its soothing, calming and skin-comforting properties. Calendula-infused jojoba oil helps condition dry, delicate and sensitive-feeling skin, leaving it feeling soft, comfortable and cared for.

Non-nano zinc oxide helps create a protective barrier on the skin, helping shield it from environmental exposure while supporting the skin’s natural barrier.

Beeswax helps form a protective layer over the skin, helping reduce moisture loss while giving the balm its rich, smooth and protective texture.

How to use: This balm is not whipped and has a slightly thicker, more protective consistency due to the addition of beeswax. Scoop out a pea-sized amount and warm it between your fingertips or directly onto warm skin — it will melt easily on contact. Apply to clean, dry skin and massage thoroughly until the white appearance from the zinc oxide disappears. A little goes a long way.

For nappy-area care, apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin at each change. During pregnancy, apply as needed to areas prone to dryness, tightness or itching. Reapply as needed to areas exposed to chafing or environmental elements.

Storage: Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the lid securely closed when not in use.
